Anyone here from Sept to Dec 2017 applicants sent a follow up email or called CIC? Please post what is their response regarding your application.

Ex. I sent an email follow up last month March 2019 and received a response that "everything is in order and within processing time.. and will inform us if a decision is made and if there is additional documents".

Yes, this is the same generic email template they used to send to everyone. i got same thing all the time.

Some actually gets a response that Background check has started or not started and they would get PPR in few weeks. So I guess, if you get a response that says Background check has started or not started you are close to PPR but if you get a response like the ones that we received, the application is still in queue for review

maybe. In November i spoke with them and they said B.Check hasn't been start. after i spoke with them in Feb then they said B.C is already in process. not sure how they work. i put BOWP extension application in November 23 and as per website it takes 90 days around however it been 142 days to me and not updates. i am on implied status from december 2018.

Applied my bow last jan 8. I was approved last Thursday. Waiting for the actual permit

I called them on Feb 28th - and agent told me all process has been done and it is in printing queue and wont take longer.
called them on March 28th - and agent told nothing wrong with file and he is not sure why it hasn't been finalise. he said he will send the follow up to the officer about why he forget about this application. He also said i need to wait a month to open another follow up if no reply.

i applied through online. this is my second time. first time mine got declined because by accidentally i paid less fees. i paid $155 instead of $255. i mess up question when i applied first time. they reject with in 65 days first time. it been 142-143 days today and no updates. it is still in progress. etc etc.
