Hi guys, I need some help here. I’ve laid off coz the situation now. And I have a close work permit which is going to expire in 1 month. I told to my employer and he said he cannot support me anymore. I’m trying really hard to find a new job, but it’s so hard right now. Can someone give me any suggestion to extend my work permit?

Hello there i just heard govt introduced a new work permit for people have temporary work permit but dont have job at the moment with same employer. I think you can apply to that work permit within 10 days and start working in a different place where you find it. Just contact with any immigration consultant.. they might help you.

Nothing happens for the English language test that got expired during the application, inasmuch your test result was valid when your application was received by the IRCC. For PCC and Medical test results, it is at the discretion of the IRCC to request another PCCs and Medical test results, which is most likely when they expire. That's my thought.

Everything passed except security and no MR yet..
Told her that all physicians in BC that i checked are open so send me already the MR

Hello, could you please share your timeline? My AOR is Mar 4, and I submitted the BIO as well, but I don't have any further update from CIC.
BTW, what do you mean waiting for security, is it background check or something esle? thanks.

Background check is divided in two parts: criminality and security check. They already did the criminality (back in november).

Basically im stuck waiting on security check since november and as today it hasnt even started yet!
