Background check is divided in two parts: criminality and security check. They already did the criminality (back in november).

Basically im stuck waiting on security check since november and as today it hasnt even started yet!

How do i get through to an agent when calling immigration about my application? Every time I try I go through the menu than when the machine reads my app status I have the option to press 0 to speak with an agent but after it disconnects saying that they are too busy

its a matter of luck, they are busy right now and most of the time when you call it will get disconnected. I was surprise I was able to communicate with them around 2 pm, which I assume is a very busy time. I did have to wait in line for around 40 minutes, they dont have the call back option anymore.

i think so. i already request two gcms notes (april and may), they are the same notes as my first one( the one that i requested last December).

As of dec 2019 GCMS notes, my criminality is still in progress but my security is not yet started. when i requested my CBSA notes 2weeks ago, it denotes there that my security started last march.

no buddy im asking what info did you entered when you filed a request for gcms notes from CBSA? I also want to do the same

ah ok. .. i requested my cbsa notes thru this site https://www.getgcms.com . Just an additional info, CBSA notes is almost the same as gcms notes, because I already requested 2 gcms notes in the past. Out of curiosity, I request CBSA , and guess what?? my recent GCMS notes(the second one) is the same thing on my CBSA, that security part is the only different info you will see in CBSA if you will compare it, because the security part is not redacted or deleted unlike in GCMS.

about uci? yes they will ask your uci number as well as the file number.

how long? i requested my cbsa last may 11 and received it last may 26. too fast probably because no other significant updates at all.
