Question:
Why is the background check is too long for nomination pr, but very fast for express entry and both are the same agents?

It is not only the iranians who are stuck in backlog...most of us who applied inland are stuck...for whatever reason we dont know. Hope they haste the processing time not just for express entry which is 6 months but also for us. Most of us are living here for years now and yet we are are not given priority.

MyCIC shows "Updated" 3 times and ECAS changed to "Decision made" last Wednesday. Still no PPR.
It seems we are stuck in the same place and just waiting for someone to send PPR?

IT STILL SAYS "IN PROCESS"
Processing background check on May 3rd, 2018.
My question is. I just got married. (she is still in India waiting for her passport renewal, will take around 1 week) and I am planning to add my wife to my file. How much longer does it increase my timeframe?

- I have closed work permit expiring November 2018. Is there a possibility to change it to open work permit?

Thanks in advance.

Today I got an e-mail
Application is awaiting the review of an officer. Notification will be sent in due course.

What's that mean?

from GCMS (ordered on 27 April)
it shows my files and app was sent to Etobicoke IRCC at location: Registry on 16 April, no more information about that.
