i just wondering what factors influence on the processing time from AOR to MER. After MER, it seems everyone will get PPR with 3-4months(i guess cic is forced to make decision within 3months )
my conclusion is that period (AOR to MER) determines our processing speed.
Is MER medical request?

I received my transfer email from Delhi-Immigration.

I am outland applicant.

CIC received file: Dec 7, 2016
AOR: Feb 17, 2017
File transfer: Mar 9, 2017 (took 21 days from AOR)

Thanks,
Parth

I am not sure but I talked to my agent today and he told me that now next step is RPRF which we can expect within a month. Then PCC and medicals will follow.

I may be wrong but I am sharing what I got.

Thanks,

Do we have to make PCC again?
My one months is over then, I have not got RPRF so far.

Hi Ashu,

I asked the same question. So agent replied me that no. You need to reply them saying PCC is already attached with the file.

1 month is ideal time not the rule.

Thanks,
Parth

Thanks dear.
One more thing, Police certificate is valid for 1 year. If we can not enter in Canada within that period then we will have to make a new one.

Hi Ashu,

You are right that it is valid for 1 year but not in all the cases. Let's say I was in Australia from 2007 to 2011. If I never visited the country after my PCC then it can be considered as final one. No need to get it again.

Also, as per my knowledge, PCC is valid till 1 year and you need to get a new one but till the time they issue you a PR. Not like you enter Canada. Because they have a strict expiry date of the PR visa before that date you need to arrive in Canada, PCC makes no sense after PR.

Thanks,
Parth

For inland applicants it is taking 9 months after AOR for medicals request
