I got RPRF request in March 9th or so but still no update on anything (including MR) after that.
I heard it takes up to 1 year until MR after your application date...

How many days post AOR did you receive your RPRF request?

I got a mail from SGVO May 09 ,2017 but medical request is so far perhaps.

Got file transfer on 3rd Mar and waiting for MR. Lets hope for best- faster processing.

Asim here from Pakistan. I am paper based pnp. Find below my timeline to guide me accordingly please.

Nomination from Saskatchewan September 27, 2016.

File sent to Nova Scotia Canada on October 15, 2016.

CIC received file October 24, 2016.

Got AOR from Canada CIC on January 11, 2017.

Background checks in progress February 02, 2017.

Got medical + rprf + bio page of passport February 14, 2017.

Medical passed February 22, 2017 and documents sent to London which were received by them on February 28, 2017.

Background checks were not applicable on April 03, 2017 and after three days turn again into progress on April 06, 2017.

Received reply of an email sent to London office about my file on April 07, 2017 stating " you will be contacted in coming days with instruction for next step to process your permanent resident application"

Still waiting for next step...

My timeline is similar. I got my AOR on 17 Feb 2017. But still no response yet. File got transferred to Delhi on 9 March 2017 and waiting for the next steps.

According to your timeline, I should have received my MR, RPRF a month back.

Actually London and Manila Visa offices are the fastest. They will provide Visa within 6 months after AOR.

I think his one is fastest. I and you both are far behind.

10/17/2016 - Application to SINP
11/18/2016 - Nomination (It took me 2 mons before application to CIC cause i need to take the IELTS and secure Police Clearance)
1/08/2017- CIC Application
1/16/17 - Received by CIC
1/24/17 - Link application to mycic account
3/15/17 - On Ecas (We started processing your application)
3/27/17 - AOR (Request to pay processing fee - The credit card i submitted declined)
3/28/17 - Paid Processing Fee
4/3/17 - Confirmation of Application
5/5/17 - MR and RPRF
5/9/17 - RPRF Paid
5/11/17 - Medical Done
5/12/17 - Medical Submitted
5/13/17 - Medical Passed
5/15/17 - submit the scanned copy of the biographical page of your renewed passport(Deadline of Submission until July 31, 2017- note:
We hope to receive the pending document(s) as soon as possible so we can forward your file to the next stage of processing.). I haven't submit yet -- my passport is expiring on Dec. 2017 thus im in the process of renewing it.

Hey there! I would share my timeline:

I am MPNP, inland.

2016. 11. 10 MPNP Nominated
2016. 11. 28 File received from CIC
2017. 02. 05 AOR received
2017. 03. 16 RPRF
2017. 04. 04 reminder mail
2017. 04. 25 "We verified the information you provided and can confirm that your file is currently located at a visa office outside Canada" << I don't know what it is.
2017. 05. 16 Upfront medical exam
2017. 05. 19ish Background check changed: "Not applicable" instead "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."


Question:

I sent my criminal check (not fingerprint) when I had sent all file to CIC. Then I could see Background check "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."

It's normal I guess. My Background check is done or not?

Inform your PNP first about that. After that send first 4 and last 4 ( not black cover) pages send through CSE With an explanation letter.

The RPRF that you mentionned above, is it the 1040$ we must pay? I did Upfront medical check and paid that fee at the moment of sending my e-APR. Will I receive a notification like yours?
