Hi Chhaya, thank you for your kind words! When IRCC returned my passport, they returned the two photos. One photo is stick on the copr and the other is also given back to me. The Canadian border services didn’t want the photo that is not stick on copr. So I end up walking away with a photo that hasn’t been used at all after the landing. I don’t know if it happened to you as well. Or should I tell IRCC. Just feel a bit strange.

i actually got only 1 photo back (the one that was stick to the COPR form). i didnt got both back, its not very strange as they still have your photo. but you can give them a call and ask if its ok. i do believe, you dont have to worry- if it was really a requirement, they would have kept it. but to clear things- just give them a call.

Oct. 27, still in BGIP stage. AINP stream.
Called CIC on Friday, agent said no updates and no guarantee on when BG Check will be done.

Hi Guys went to the border today im Dec 2016 as my visa was about to expire they told me my application was transfered to another department but were not sure why anyone any ideas, but they did give us all free 6 month extent which was kind of them they said hopefully be sorted out by then

Nov 2016 applicant, after 4 month since the BG update, they finally contacted me with a request letter.

This letter, however, not a PPR, but an additional document request letter....but it is a generic request letter saying "please submit any of the following documents "IF" you have not yet submitted them.

has anyone gotten this sort of request? it was requested through the online portal, not personal email.

All sorts of stuff from employment offer to updated scheduled A (which i have submitted on the April of 2017 as additional documents).

I called the office today and luckily i was able to talk to a person today. They confirmed that it seemed like a general request. they looked through my file and everything was in order. To be on the safe side, i was instructed to apply to them with an email saying that I have submitted additional documents as requested back in April 2017 and to contact me with specific requests if there is anything that deemed necessary.

I have requested for a verification of employment letter from my employer. This should be ready on friday so I am ganna wait until i have this and send them the email.
