I think BGIP on Feb 27 might be a glitch except for those who got 'updated' instead of 'submitted' on the status section on the first page because those who got the updated message received ppr last week. However, we will see whether it was glitch or not in the following week since they are going to have another system maintenance on Tuesday. Hopefully it was real BGIP though! have a great weekend folks!

thank you for your updating. then I am wrong. hmmm...why did this BGIP happen to even 2017 applicants who haven't received MR on last tuesday? mysterious!

The protocol may have changed so lets not make any speculations. It isnt necessary that BGIP start after MR just because thats how it happened in retro. In an effort to reduce processing time, it is completely possible they might have started processing BG prior to MR.

I agree and I have heard about that somewhere in this website. And in fact, for some reason, for some applicants, the processing time is shorter than 18 months. hopefully my turn also comes soon!! :)

My friend March 2017 she did upfront medicals,BGIP Feb 27 like most of us and she got PPR she got PPR March 1!I think that BGIP was not a glitch at all!Waiting for my PPR July 25
