As I said, more than 1 month of delay for no reason is a legit concern. 3 months is totally unacceptable and you should contact them.

There is no guarantee of MR straight after AOR. It is dependent on each files whether they are verifying some other documents you sent, or PCC, or education backgrounds. Could be anything.

Plus the whole refugee situation CIC and Canada is dealing with are higher in their priority so I don't find it surprising they draw manpower and resources to them from other immigration class. It's political.

Just don't expect CIC make every timeline accurately to the date.

You are right and I understand it's political and they are very welcoming and helpful...

But the way regular applications are being handled....
Seems to me they get less timelines up to date than they could...

... Still we who really choose Canada, patiently waits....

... Good luck to all of us ...

Btw, my ECAS is now activated

Hello everyone,
It's been 14 weeks since CIC received my application and I haven't got AOR yet. Can you please advise if you have seen anyone who was waiting this long to get their AOR? Should I call CIC to ask or do you have any advise for me?

Really appreciate for any information.

thank you!

Hi fellow November 2015 CIC applicants,

For those with AORs, any news of MR?

I have my AOR since February 4, 2016 and still haven't receive my MR yet.

I don't understand the delay with mine...I'm getting very anxious...

relax. Because there's really nothing you can do. CIC doesn't even know you have a file until they go through it and gives AOR or return. It's a file sitting at their pile of paper at the office.

Maybe the officer at CIO-Sydney is having a vacation.

Hi vimaljindal2,

The initial MR email came from our local VO with an attachment letter. The attachment letter sais that our application is being processed (stating our VO) and that all of us (applicant, spouse and dependents), whether accompanying the applicant to Canada or not, should submit the results of our medical examinations/tests within 30 days upon receipt of email. It also said to wait for the instructions and forms to be emailed w/in 72 hours.

The second email which I just received yesterday are the MR forms and instructions for each one of us...

... Good luck to all of us ...

Dear All, I am so happy. today we have recived Medical request and PRRF. Thanks to lord Jesus.

One question, In the email it says that make sure to have eye glass if you ware them? do you guys think there will be eye examanation. I am asking this cause I never wear eye glass but currently i got a bit difficulty of reading from distance. Do you guys think that will affect the result? what do you guys think we have to do before the examanation ?
