I can check the status of the application today eventually.

Hi go north,go north said:Hi joy15,
That's nice to know "kabayan"... May I know what province you're headed? I'm a Manitoba provincial nominee...
Let's keep each other posted "balitaan tayo.." of our PR applications' progress....
BTW, it took me 20 months (from February 4, 2014 to October 30, 2015) to get my provincial nomination/LOA... How about you?
...this really tests our patience.... From the information that I have read, before yr. 2010, the processing was only 2 years and that already includes CIC... imagine that.... Now, I'll consider myself lucky if my journey doesn't exceed 3 years (36 months) ! ! !
... Good luck to all of us ...

We had our AOR last Jan 18 and got an email from CEM last Feb 1 for MR and got medical forms the day after.
go north said:Hi YellowBucks,
Congratulations!
You got your MR within less than 2 weeks from receiving AOR email?
... That was fast ...
... Good luck to all of us ...
I DO NOT UNDERSTAND ....YellowBucks said:Thank you go north,
Yes, luckily we got MR exactly 14 days from AOR.
Hope all goes well for us, good luck and god bless!
If that's the case, then NOT ALL APPLICATIONS ARE TREATED THE SAME,mf4361 said:Even within the same VO, files might be processed by different agents. That may have a small effect on the timeline (some agents are on vacation lately or maybe just a slacker. It's a government job, after all)
It's normal until the difference is more than 1 month.
As I said, more than 1 month of delay for no reason is a legit concern. 3 months is totally unacceptable and you should contact them.go north said:If that's the case, then NOT ALL APPLICATIONS ARE TREATED THE SAME,
... Doesn't it just test your patience? Worse is (except to inquire) we can't do anything about it but to just wait.
... Further, I read in the many posts by the seniors from the different thread topics in this forum that there are considerable number of PR applicants whose wait for MR after AOR were longer than 1 month.... does that mean there are many of those so called NOT NORMAL treatment?
:'(. :-X.
... Also, IMHO, having 1 to 3 months delay in the release of MR is not a small effect on the timeline, it's a considerable difference for me ...
I hope they don't toy with our applications. The applicants' futures are in their hands... Afterall, with all the qualifications screening that all of us provincial nominees went thru, I believe we will come to Canada to be productive members of the community... We chose Canada... Unlike many of those that they hurriedly welcomed (due to humanitarian reason, which is very noble and I totally respect/admire) who may still need to learn language and other adaptability skills ...
... Just saying ...
... Good luck really to all of us ...
