Melanie ..I would say better to go your pnp office meet with specialist ..and solve the problem before DM on your PR ..I was like you ..assuming things in my head ..and that's what I m paying the price for it and facing the music for it ..for 8 months now no job ..restoration ..bczzz I was assuming I 'll get work permit bcx I have no restriction ..but they don't assume like us ..they have a textbook in front of them and using it as a yard stick to beat the drum ..
Please save your PR ..go and meet and talk ...to them ..if I would have talked and met earlier I wouldn't have gone in restoration ..go there please. Look for a job offer in skill position first and then go just in case ..otherwise refusal means either ...waiting for pR for two more years or who knows going back home

Hi Akhan, I just messaged you.

Me and my some friends are going to thru same scenario ..when cic did a terrible mistake on my work permit ..I discussed with MP and mp is yet to get final answer ..but in the mean time I went to pnp office ..I met with employer specialist unit and I discussed all the questions I had ..
One Q was ..so if I leave Canada ..As I m n restoration ..Will I still b getting ppr ..she said it depends on the case officer if the case officer wants to ask pnp office of we still support ..we look at candidate situation and then we respond back ..
Second Q was ..what if I m not working with that company which issued me pnp ..she said the case in the final review 'll b refused ..
So she said better would b to revise your nomination and it should b skilled and you need to have experience in that field .
Then we can revise it
Lets c what happens next
What mistake did cic do? Were u on open wp?

They refused my wp and restoration on the reason that I didn't apply within the 90 day period ..which is wrong ..I did apply within 90 day period

Nomination has lot of criteria so we dont know till that happens. I have a bad experience with this pnp. I applied in 2011 and in aug 14 they asked to get all certified documents for everything. i could not get one certified tax document from US within 90 days (whereas this tax dept takes more than that) hence my file was rejected in feb15 even though i have sent all payslips, visa, work permit approvals and bank statements but it is what it is, some pnp offices just want to see all defined as per rules and rules are such that, they defined as if they can do easily get all documents similar to that country/state without considering the difficulties dealing with other countries. Waited for 4 years and received nothing.

You can further discuss on PNP related in the correct PNP Quebec thread as this is for CIC stage applicants.

Good luck to your application.
Hi,

It sad to hear that, actually as per the rep they are not asking for additional documents as of the moment, maybe they are satisfied what we submitted.

I do go to your provided link and check what's the rep. say means? so what is your application right now sir?

Thanks

Have any of you from the November 2014 time frame (or around that time frame) who applied to the CIC for PR had any luck with receiving decisions made or emails with your approvals/COPR this month? I'm trying to find out if anyone in the forum has had success this month, processing seems to be painfully slow for those of us on the tail end of the process. I did my medical, for example, in May this year and had no idea I'd be sitting here in December without a PR card... I'm just baffled at the length of time on this!

It is another Tuesday - another date ECAS is supposed to provide updates - and mine is stuck on In Process as it has been for some time.

No update for me either, I think you and I have a similar timeline (Nov 28th 2014)

Well it is pretty clear, after they pushed through numerous applications in the September-October time frame, they seem to have slowed significantly, almost as if they have stopped processing for this year altogether except for a handful of cases or the refugees they are bringing in.

Waiting Nov 6 Applicant. DM on 26 Aug. No PPR

ANYONE MORE WAITING FOR PPR?

Well at least there are several of us waiting and it isn't something only one of us has to endure. The average 15 months waiting period for most apps to be done is closing in shortly for many of us.
