Thanks Param, I did not try as of now, FYI, im from outside Canada, and im from Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

I took a number from one of the forums.

I use the below number from US but try it out if you can at least use this one. after dialing listen to the options correctly and enter accordingly because i am not sure if that is mentioned here correctly hence use the phone number alone.

1-888-242-2100 doesn't work if you are in US. At least it didn't work for me. Try 1-613-944-4000 and then a series of 1111131 (when asked to press a digit). This should take you to CIC representatives.
If you have GMAIL (no matter where you are) you can make free phone calls from google voice to the US and Canada.

Are you talking about PNP - Quebec? And you are at PNP Quebec stage?
If so then we dont know till they decide on it.

Nomination has lot of criteria so we dont know till that happens. I have a bad experience with this pnp. I applied in 2011 and in aug 14 they asked to get all certified documents for everything. i could not get one certified tax document from US within 90 days (whereas this tax dept takes more than that) hence my file was rejected in feb15 even though i have sent all payslips, visa, work permit approvals and bank statements but it is what it is, some pnp offices just want to see all defined as per rules and rules are such that, they defined as if they can do easily get all documents similar to that country/state without considering the difficulties dealing with other countries. Waited for 4 years and received nothing.

Hey Guys, I need your help interpret the rules for staying in Canada after you receive your PR. It says that you have to spend 4 years out of 6 years to be eligible for citizenship, and it also says that out of the 4 year you have to be in canada for atleast 183 days i.e. 6 months in a year.

My other question is: Do I lose my PNP Nomination based on NOC 2131 Job in Alberta if I leave Canada temporarily. Or They will still work on my application and send me the PPR? Once PPR is received how would I send my passport to Canada for visa stamping.

Me and my some friends are going to thru same scenario ..when cic did a terrible mistake on my work permit ..I discussed with MP and mp is yet to get final answer ..but in the mean time I went to pnp office ..I met with employer specialist unit and I discussed all the questions I had ..

Second Q was ..what if I m not working with that company which issued me pnp ..she said the case in the final review 'll b refused ..
So she said better would b to revise your nomination and it should b skilled and you need to have experience in that field .

what do you mean the company issued the pnp? what if it is not the employer driven stream? is it okay to switch job then? cuz on my nomination letter, it says no restrictions and without job offer.

Melanie ..I would say better to go your pnp office meet with specialist ..and solve the problem before DM on your PR ..I was like you ..assuming things in my head ..and that's what I m paying the price for it and facing the music for it ..for 8 months now no job ..restoration ..bczzz I was assuming I 'll get work permit bcx I have no restriction ..but they don't assume like us ..they have a textbook in front of them and using it as a yard stick to beat the drum ..
Please save your PR ..go and meet and talk ...to them ..if I would have talked and met earlier I wouldn't have gone in restoration ..go there please. Look for a job offer in skill position first and then go just in case ..otherwise refusal means either ...waiting for pR for two more years or who knows going back home
