They need only copy of ur passport, if it is going to be expires in next 6 Months.

Did u get this mail from CIO Sydney/ Ottawa?
Is the mail say that it is Reminder Email?

From Sydney , NO Email subject was additional document request and the end part of it was having reminder section for RPRF and Passport. So got confused did they asked for passport too, since i didn't paid RPRF as of now.

Medicals done: April 28th, 2015
Medicals received in ECAS: May 5th, 2015
In Process: July 20th, 2015
Additional documents requested: July 21st, 2015.

They clearly mentioned"PASSPORTS : Do not submit the original passports until CIC requests them."this
However, u must paid the RPRF Fee.
Did u get the mail from any officer or just as general mail from CIC Sydney?

DO NOT SUBMIT ORIGINAL PASSPORT = NOT PPR email. This is more like an IP stage assessment (if you're passport is almost expired, replace it now ahead of PPR - that's the purpose). Many ppl got this email first prior to PPR. I got this passport bio page copy request too July 2nd & Julu 13th got IP July 20th.

But my Ecas Status doesn't say IP yet.

I've paid RPRF, file has been transferred to Ottawa from Sydney, and my app was accepted Nov 28. I finished Medical in May, and it was listed as received late may.

So... I'm impatiently waiting for PPR. I hope it happens very, very soon.

My application was received on Nov 18 and got document request letter issued on 2nd july by my agent on 13th july. it was mentioned on Letter please ignore if you have already submitted all these documents.. PCC, Schedule A form, RPRF and passport copy. i already submitted all my documents with my application but sent a copy of RPRF receipt and form A and passport copy again. i called to CIC in beginning of july they said you application is in process but my Ecas is still not updated. Hope so it will directly goes to PPR soon.

Today they updated my Ecas... earlier i had only mailing address on my ecas thats my agent address but today my ecas is updated with my residential address... hope so by next week...will get more updates....

Same with mine pardeep1328, in eCAS now shows my current home address, before just my representative mailing address. Awaits to get more updates by next week too most importantly PPR.
