Timelines are interesting! CanSask just now getting MR, other November applicants already getting PPR. Simply amazing.

I hope I get a PPR soon. MY RPRF has been paid since first part of May and my medical was received last week of May. Month waiting with everything done.

My file was also received by Sydney office on 18th Nov ... paid my RPRF upfront last week... hopping to get PPR soon...

Dear November cohort, I just received an email from CIC asking me to pay my Permanent Resident Fees, so I guess its good news!

I have just got an email from CIC asking for the RPRF as well. Good news to all the Nov applicants.

Timeline:
CIC application received Nov 12, 2014.
AOR: Apr 15, 2015
MR: Apr 22, 2015
RPRF: Jun 24, 2015

I also forgot to mention that the email is from CPC-CTD-Ottawa, so I guess my file is being transferred (medical request email was from Sydney).

I have a question if it applies to anyone: I am from Colombia, and police checks instructions in our case states that CIC “will send you a file number and a letter requesting a police certificate after you send your Application for Permanent Residence. You will need that letter and file number when you apply for a Police Certificate”…does anyone else in this forum is in the same boat?? I am not very clear of the order of steps in this case, I already have MR and RFPR, should this come next? Or is it that sometimes they waive that requirement? Any light on this is highly appreciated.

Cheers,

Havent heard from CIC further after I submitted my medical. I see people from November 2014 have already started getting RPRF requests and PPRs.

Timeline:
Ontario PNP
Application sent: 01-Nov-2014
Application received:06-Nov-2014
AOR: 09-Apr-2015
MR: 22-Apr-2015
MR Submitted: 28-Apr-2015

I havent submitted the PCC and not paid RPRF upfront. Do you guys think I should send it anyways to speed up the process or just wait for their mail?
I got the MR from Sydney and not Ottawa.

@nonresidentdesi. My recommendation to you is that..send the police clearance certificate and RPRF as early as possible. Not sending ahead might delay the processing by a month or two.
My processing office was Ottawa though.

Same with me. my medicals were submitted on May 3rd but my ECAS has still not been updated to show medical received. I am now wondering if I should pay RPRF Upfront or wait for it to be updated.

Hussy, paing upfront is not a bad idea...as i have noticed it makes several weeks difference:p
i just sent my RPRF today...
At least the time your medical "receive " is taking...it will save you from the next email of sending RPRF and then they ll b updating who knows when?
Legally the Govt is accepting upfront, so why not!!!
I would say go ahead

You are right. I will proceed with paying RPRF upfront. Will update my status tomorrow.

It is entirely up to you, but I would consider paying RPRF upfront just to save the extra few weeks of processing. If you're like me (and many other applicants) each day that passes is another day that feels like a wasted day of pointless waiting.
