Hi All, my name is Anh, I need your advices.
I'm Nov 6 applicant under BC PNP, inland, they received my application on Nov 21.
I haven't got my medical request, but I'm in IP on Sep 16.
It's kinda weird, please advise.

Calm down. there's nothing out of the ordinary with your timeline if you mean IP since sept 16th 2015. For example, I am an October applicant, I had been in IP since July 20th and only progressed to DM sept 17th. Yes some November applicants have received the PPR but anywhere between the IP and PPR stage is reasonable for November applicants. No need to fret yet. To get a better view of timelines and where everyone else is with regards to their application, look at the google spreadsheet on my signature. Hopefully, you get DM soon. Welcome to the forum

I don't think that actually is a normal timeline - Anhhuynh mentioned that they haven't had their medical request yet, which is something people with similar timelines have been getting between April - June 2015.

Anhhuynh: can you post the details in your ECAS? Does it say that they've sent you medical instructions? If so, you might have missed an email or had it caught in your spam filter and you should contact CIC. If you don't have that line then this is strange but not totally impossible - hopefully you'll get it soon.

In my ECAS there are 5 lines:
We received your application for permanent residence on November 21, 2014.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on September 16, 2015.
We started processing your application on September 16, 2015.
We sent you correspondence on April 24, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
We sent you correspondence on July 27, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
They used to ask for my husband birth certificate, and I responded I recently filed my divorce, they haven't replied back to me. And I received their email on Sep 16 saying my case in process.
Please advise, thank you.

looks like correspondence on April 24, 2015 was medical request..based on other applications timeline. i would suggest to call CIC and if they can guide you. don't wait.

I disagree, because medical request shows up on ECAS as "We sent you medical instructions on <date goes here>. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.".

My best guess is that they were trying to determine eligibility in April and July and with a divorce involved the case would be considered complex. This seems to push the processing timeline back as there are more checks than usual that needs doing.

Since the AOR was only issued 4 days ago, I would imagine that a medical request should hopefully be incoming soon.

Disclaimer, I could also be totally wrong. ;) CIC and ECAS often doesn't make a lot of sense itself. :P

Thanks all, I think they will ask for medical check soon. But if it's the case, it shouldn't be in IP right? Do you think I'll get DM soon?

Tenkrun,

When the file is transferred to CPC-Ottawa, what do you think where my app is at? Nov 6 applicant here.
Thank you.

In my Ecas my medical request and received information was updated after it start showing in Process...but my medical request was in April just 2 days after my Aor.

I think you will get PPR this week. Mine is already passed 3 weeks so no hope now. I Have to wait longer.

Dont loose hope ... because we have done our best and now nothing is in our hand....lets wait ...we already waited so long to reach here...i know its very frustrating to wait and keep checking ecas and emails.... it better to chill...and wait for it... :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Not sure if you guys are into hiking or mountaineering, but there's a thing called a "false peak" or "false summit". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/False_peak

This immigration process is a lot like that. Each ECAS update is another false peak, but then we get to it only to find there is still more climbing to do. It can be brutal, but eventually you reach another summit. Our final peak is approaching, and we've climbed all this way for so long. We'll be sitting on top of the mountain soon enough, and I can't wait to share the view with you guys!

8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

Just a quick question.

How much time do they give you to submit the passports?

FYI still waiting on PPR, Nov 24 applicant.

Thanks

R

Just be thankful you've got Decision Made! You're in, its just a matter of time.

Plenty of us are sitting here with nothing more than medical request/medical received for going on almost 5 months now.
