Yup - I was born and raised in London, England - wonderful place to live, but very expensive. My wife is a Winnipegger, and the cost of living here is SO much more affordable, so that's why I made the move.

I so agree with you, London is really expensive. Here in Winnipeg I can afford my own apartment and car something which is very expensive in London

I was working full time at a decent job in London (not paid a huge wage, but a fair bit above minimum wage) - and I couldn't afford an apartment. I lived at home with my mum - who thankfully wasn't ready to kick me out(!)

Here, for the same equivalent wage, I have an apartment with my wife, a car, and cover all the bills - with money to save at the end of each month. I'm very grateful for that.

Today, when I checked my ECAS I found 4th line added but I didn't receive any correspondence on May 17 or later. I know that some of your had that situation. Can you please explain me what is going on?

1. We received your application for permanent residence on August 17, 2015.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on November 17, 2015.
3. We started processing your application on November 17, 2015.
4. We sent you correspondence on May 17, 2016. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

did you receive RPRF request on may 17? if yes, you need to pay that fee and send via CSE. if you have already done that no further actions required.

HI guys, I have been disappeared for a few months, because I was waiting for my FBI's clearance, which took almost 3 months to get it since 2/14/2016, I just sent them to CIC on 5/20/2016, hopefully they might take 2 more months for further review of my supporting documents, I don't expect I will receive the DM soon like you guys, a little bit frustrating.

I learn a few people have been received DM within this month, congratulations to your lucky guys.

It depends. If you are lucky it takes just a month after submitting addl docs. So will see what happens in 4-5 weeks.

Not yet. They are nowadays following the file received sequence. They sent out till 22nd applicants (few are yet to receive still). So i am thinking that they will cover the applications received till this weekend by Friday. Mine is 29th hence expecting on 27th or before. As we dont have any applications received on 30th or 31st possibly they will cover rest of May this week.

Same here yannipc I am April 30 applicant, additional documents request from jan28 but I had waited for FBI report and finally received and sent on March 22 until now have not heard anything from CIC.

I have a question:
I have my home address changed but my mailing is same but in a different city as of now. I am planning to get back the passports (of course) to the new location to my new home address. So should i not inform about the change in return address in my return envelope or i have to change the address first? Anyone received the passports to new address other than the address on file?
