I also did my medical check upfront, sure it can be done. Just ask your refered clinic.

Right.. We can certainly do our MR upfront. No problem at all.
However, my medical centre wasn't so interested doing medical without IME number sent from CIC. On top of that our province clearly mentioned not to do our medical before requested.

Anyone has medical done like Mrs.PR can send upfront medical and there is no harm.

We called the clinic in Madrid that is able to do the Medical check here in Spain (allowed for CIC), and they said we can do it before we get the medical request from Canada . They open a file in the internal Medical program they have from CIC, and share with us our medical check numbers. We have already done our medical check...hope we have no problems, but we are worry till we can see something in ECAS about it. What do you think they will add to our ECAS? How do we know the date Sydney will transfer our application to Paris??

You will receive your File Transfer email from Paris visa office 15 to 21 days after your EP AOR date.
My Doctor told me, it will take at least 6 days after he sends my medical result to CIC until it show up in the ECAS system and also he mentioned there were cases in the past , it took 3 to 4 months until medical result received by visa office!!! The reason is: when your clinic/Doctor sends your medical result, it will go to a center in London and that center should check the medical result and accept it and forward that to the visa office (It is like CIO but for Medical results!) and it means if they work like CIO(sometimes fast and sometimes slow), then we will have different waiting time for our medical result at all!

When they already added your information in their internal medical system then there isn't anything to worry about. Just wait and your medical result will be received by Paris visa office at the end.

At last you can only see a short line in your ECAS system that "We received your medical result on ..."!

Probably no august MR candidate got the medical received line update yet. Normally it takes 6-14 days approx but seems recently something going on

im wondering whats going on. I did my medical on the 5th and only last night it got updated but not medical received. it says we sent u correspondence on this date if u havent sent pls send asap. wait for further instructions before sending additional docs. do not send until it is requested.

*Docs RPRF & Proof of medical was sent on the 13th via registered mail. does anyone on the same boat?

I’m a bit worried. There is no update online- med received or file transfer or anything, it just says ‘We received your application on May 21, 2015’. Wonder what’s happening :-[

We recieved our AOR 6 August but still don't have any evidence about our application has been transfered to Paris. There is nothing in ECAS updated about it. So we wll be a little bit concern till something happen in ECAS and we would know everything it's ok.

Hi,
Yes, As the doctor said, it works exactly like that. All submitted Medical Results will be received by a Medical Center in London and they will check and confirm each medical result and forward that to the visa office. When Medical Result received by visa office, it will appear in ECAS system. The minimum time after submission is 6 days and the maximum is 4 months! ;D
