Any idea how long is it for inland applicants to receive medical instructions?

Hi all,

We decided to do our medical exams before recieve MR. We do it ain sometime and finish the process faster. Anybody do it ? Do you think they will recieve it and add it to our application??

We are a little bit worry. What do we have to expect now? What do they add to our ECAS??

I can see, your visa office is Paris. My file is in Paris visa office too. I received my Medical Request just 28 days after File Transfer email. I suggest you wait a little more and you will receive your Medical Request! Paris visa office is sending Medical Request 3 to 4 weeks after File Transfer email and it is very close to you!
In Medical Request they will add your file in their internal medical system and produce IME number and your doctor will find your record easily in their medical system.

Well, I got an ITA in EE sometime back in april this year so completed medical at that time. But then I realized that I had quite a few mistakes on my profile and so declined it. When sending application to CIO in May I decided to attach a copy of that medical. Hope I didn't do anything wrong?

We called the clinic in Madrid that is able to do the Medical check here in Spain (allowed for CIC), and they said we can do it before we get the medical request from Canada . They open a file in the internal Medical program they have from CIC, and share with us our medical check numbers.

So, do you think we could have any problem??

If you have UCI then you doctor can attach it based on UCI or if visa office allocated then you can do MR and send the receipt to them.
It might be an issue if there is no UCI or visa office not allocated yet.

Its been 3 weeks after my medical but still not updated on ecas..Is there anybody on the same boat? I called the clinic and they said the processing time of sending results is 10 days from the day of medical which they cannot confirm it to me if it was already sent but they keep on saying it has been sent probably. I called cic and I was advised that it wouldnt show on ecas coz its their internal process and will never be disclosed online. This dribes me crazy! lol

What number do you use to call cic??

I also did my medical check upfront, sure it can be done. Just ask your refered clinic.

You need to have UCI for all family members so that doctor can attach to respective UCI. If not also its fine as you can send the receipt to vo which will tag to appropriate candidates.
Medicals are being updated online after 2-6 weeks. Rarely it gets delayed more than this time period.

We can. Its about tagging the medical report to right person. VO can do it if we send the receipt/report.
