EP: is Application number & XEP is a temporary application number
UCI: Unique Client Identifier
IP: In Process
MR: Medical Request
RPRF: Right of Permanent Resident Fee
DM: Decision Made
PPR: Passport Request

File Transfer is for both Outland and Inland applicants because for Inland, CIO also send applications to Ottawa visa office and it will also take 15 to 21 days and they will send File Transfer email too.

On your footer you've updated, that "(OUT)Newest EP: 08 AUG - CIO Date: 03 JUNE ", where this info is coming from,
cause in the PNP PR sheet the latest date for EP is 28-05?

As for application transfer, does that mean only transferred file will make it available for 'in progress'? so far my history can be queried in CIC status which shows 'in progress' and three pieces of records, which took place 2 days after the AOR, thus I am not certain why 15 to days will be taken. I am confused, are we talking about the same thing?

Hello my friends!

I received my Medical Request today(Saturday 08 August 2015 @ 10:26AM Paris Local time)!

My Timeline again:

CIO received my application: 07 MAY 2015
I Received Direct EP AOR from CIO: 23 JUNE 2015 (47days after Application Received)
I Received File Transfer Email from Paris Visa Office: 11 JULY 2015 (18days after EP AOR)
I Received my Medical Request from Paris Visa Office: 08 AUGUST 2015 (28days after File Transfer Email)

My status isn't In Process yet because in Paris Visa Office it is normal to send Medical Request and some other document update(If it is needed) first and then after 1 or 2 months after Medical Result received date, they will change the status to "In Process" and finalize the application in the next 1 to 2 months and finally send Passport request at the end.

They didn't request any additional documents from me and I only received Medical Request.

Congrats Dreamer.
Its normal for not receiving RPR fee request along with medical request as it depends on case officer. They will do it after medical stage. As you dont need to wait for it, you can send it sometime this month.

Interesting to know that it came from Ottawa office. So we dont know what office will be processing our file till we get some communication from the office.

Congratulation.... I know what you feel bro. Happy for you.

Ottowa VO send RPRF right at the end stage when they got all background screening done and almost finalize the application.

How fast is Ottowa, by the way? The delayed MR is a good sign though. That possible because they had started your background check and others steps already.

All information I write in my signature place or in CIO news thread is coming from other friends announcement and also some Whatsapp group I joined.

For example our Outland friend "Sookie", file received by CIO on 03 June, received AOR on 06 August:

My friend,
We have two separate things: 1) Actual movement and work of the applications 2) ECAS system and what we can see in that system

In my previous post I explained what exactly CIO do in the real world with applications. After sending EP AOR, they send applications to local visa offices (Electronically and physically with courier) and it will take 15 to 21 days and after application received by local visa office, they will send File Transfer email to applicant and put it on a waiting queue until one immigration officer really start to work on that application.

BUT in the ECAS system they are trying to show us what the last status of our file is. In the new changes in ECAS system from one week ago when CIO send EP AOR to applicant, they add three line initially inside ECAS system: 1- Application received on ... 2- Sent Correspondence(Mean EP AOR) on... 3- Start IN Process on ... (The date they added application in their system before sending EP AOR)
In the OLD ECAS system, there wasn't any IN PROCESS status in the ECAS system until one immigration officer inside visa office really started to work on the application but in the new ECAS system IN PROCESS doesn't mean they are working on the application because as we can se even before real file transfer to the local visa office they change the status to IN PROCESS.

Because this ECAS system showing new messages that didn't exist before, we don't know what will be next messages in the ECAS after 3rd line. Maybe they add another line and message when visa office received application and after they send File Transfer Email. OR it is possible there will be new line and message when they send Medical Request to applicant, ...
In the next weeks we can see how this new ECAS system works and how it will show the next messages.
