I don't know because CIO send outland files to different local visa offices these days. It is not clear now, where my file could be at the end!!! ;)
How about inland applicants?
Hope they are not gonna send my file to European office as there is 25 months processing time ::) Im inland though...
but yes my generic form had no visa office field to fill in...

If they send your files to any other visa office than you should consider yourself lucky because CIO will only transfer your files to the VO which has the less processing time than your regular VO.
About the 24 months processing time, I think that calculation is no more. Time has changed a lot my friend and you shouldn't trust those CIC online processing timetable, it's backdated now. To be honest current trend shows Ottowa VO is much slower than many outside VO :p :p

So we will come to know the VO at least by medical request email?

I think it would be around 6 months as turnaround time now is each stage is less. Of course it again depends on each case but for majority we should receive it around that time. Isnt it?

We can know our assigned VO name by contacting CIO after getting AOR.

VO's processing time is not applicable if our application get selected for random verification check or quality assurance check which dealt by external agency & takes extra time. sometime it may even takes 1 to 2 years to finalize.

Generally VO's has the ability to finalize an application in 1-2 days in each stage once they get the application in hand for processing to medical report & to "decision made". :)

But do we any applicants who are waiting longer that are part of B category?
I think there was some post earlier by someone on the same statement but trying to see if we have at least few waiting in that category.

My guess is NOC may influence processing speed but not in AOR stage. When your VO starts working with your file it may speed up or down the processing time but less likely. And for your kind information most NOC B contain technical occupation which in some cases has more demand value than NOC O or A. :)

Nothing my friend, I only received my EP & UCI number and I have to wait at least 3 weeks and my file will transfer to Local Visa Office and if they really want to start process of my application then I will receive medical in the next 2 months. ;)

The whole processing time is the same for inland and outland applicants because most of inland applications will be processed in Ottawa and Sydney visa offices and as we know there won't be any big transfer time for those visa offices because Applications are almost there! But for outland applications there are 3 weeks transfer time. Also the background and security checks will be shorter for inland applications. The initial processing time at CIO is about 2-3 months for inland and 45 days for outland applicants.

The whole process from application receive date by CIO until they send passport request will take 6 - 7 months at all. ;)

For PNP applications they won't look at NOC at all because when one province nominated you then that province need you for its economy! All PNP applications are same at the CIC level. But sometimes some of applications move faster than others because different officers in different sections are working on different applications. some officers are working faster than others and sometime giving higher priority to some special applications will cause others suffer unexpected delays!

There is only one rule always work for immigration process time and it is your luck! If you are lucky you will receive your visa fast and if you are not lucky then you can receive it later than others! ;) ;D
