my application was received by CIC on september 20,2016 but still i am not able to link my application online , what can i do next????
can anyone tell me the reason behind that ??? and help me sort out my problem?

Mine was received on September 22, 2016 and after lots of tries, i was able to link my application yesterday. my steps below if it will help;
-PR
-PNP
-Family,Given name and date of birth
(typed in my last name, and my given names were 2 so i wrote both with space in-between "as i did on the form")
-Skipped place of birth
-Entered passport details as it was on my password.
-Entered province, city and marital status as it was on the form
-for number of family i put 2 cos my wife is on the form even though she's not a dependant
and voila it worked.
cheers

Congrats! Got my AOR as well. Application received on Aug 2.

bonjay,
i tried with all the possible ways ...but still i am not able to link my application.
Last week i send my inquiry to CIC, thy replied me like :

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

There is no record of your application available at this time.

When an application is received by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, it can take several weeks before the processing begins. There will be no record of that application until the processing has begun.

To find out the estimated processing times for applications submitted within Canada, please refer to the Application Processing Times on the IRCC website.

If you sent the applications by traceable means (express post, courier, registered mail) and you would like to verify when they were received at the Case Processing Centre (CPC) in Sydney, Nova Scotia, please contact the postal service provider for more information.

Sincerely,

I am really worried ................

Which courier company did you use, when did you send your application and when was it delivered. Or did you use post? Those are the things you need to verify.

Received AOR in email on a snowy morning in Winnipeg of 22 November :)

Hey newmpnp2016,

i don't think you should press the panic button yet, cos loads of people couldn't link their application until they got their application number and even some after getting their application number are still struggling to link it. so i will just advice you to exercise patience if you can and wait for your application number. hopefully by early January as August applicant are receiving their AORs. it is well
cheers,
