My app was received on sep 23 and I got this your type of mail on dec 23 which I think is AOR. I was able to link my account online with the file# given in the mail. it shows review of eligibility and background check in progress.

Surprisingly I logged into my account and my medical has been updated to passed though I did upfront medical. review of eligibility and background check still in progress. Hopefully I will get PPR soonest

our application received at CIC 19 August 2016.

Received AOR on 30 November.

Received email for RPRF Fee on 20 Dec 2016.

Received Medical Request on 21Dec 2016.

Medical done on 3rd Jan 2017.

Hello Everyone,

I need help regarding my work permit extension. I got AINP (International Graduate Category- Employer Driven Stream and NOC 0621) on October 20, 2016 and applied for PR under PNC paper based application on November 6, 2016. My application has been accepted by CIO by November 10, 2016 and my current 'Post graduate work permit' will expire by February 7, 2017 (almost in a month). Waiting to get AOR and application number as of now.

My employer refused to support closed work permit (HR said company policy doesn't allow them to support any immigration related affairs such as LMIA, closed work permit support, etc.). I think my only hope as of now is to apply for 'Bridging Open Work Permit' paper application and the processing times are 115 days from the day application is accepted by CIC. My only concern/question is that, "Will I be able to update AOR & file number on the paper application for Bridging Open Work Permit? "

I had the same situation and my lawyer suggested me to apply BOWP paper application and submit AOR once I get it. I have done the same, Let's see what happen.....

My application received by CIC on 8th Aug, 2016, AOR was issued on 28 Nov, 2018. I hope to get MR soon
