@brian2015 The question is did you applied for PR along with your common law? That's why gopsgrg was asking you if you informed CIC that you're not with your common law anymore. So you can change your marital status. Is your common law got PR already?

I am SK PNP applicant. I filed my application for my PR in July 2014, and my medical was done in October 2014. I got married in January 2015, and sent all controlled documents to CIC for my spouse. In April 2015 i paid RPRF fee for me and my spouse. In June 2015 CIC requested medical for my wife and it was done in same week (e-Medical).
My E-Cas Status say "medical results received" since October 2014, and "we start processing your application " since April 2015.
My question is when applicant add spouse in their application, CIC request for a questionnaire. I never received such request so far, even they requested medical for my spouse in June 2015. Is there anyone in thread in same situation. Please share your timeline, if someone is in same situation.
Or, if someone have any advise for me.
Thanks for your time !!
Thanks for your responsedelgado77 said:I wouldn't worry much if CIC did not request questionaire if I were you. Every case is treated differently depending on the officer handling your case, if the officer feels the marriage is real and there was no room for doubting the credibility of the marriage, then the need for a questionaire is out of it. So worry not my friend especially when your application is already "in process". If your application was still at "application received" or "medical received" then I would be very worried.
