Hello Friends!
I have some questions about an BOWP.
We send our application under AINP inland December 2017.They received it December 7th (got an email saying they received it and file number).
Is that the AOR?
We passed medicals middle of June.
Nothing else so far.
Our work permit expires next month and we though we are eligible for a BOWP but when we answer the questions in Come to Canada tool it gives us the question: Have you been told by an officer from CIC that you are eligible in principle for pr in Canada?
We answer no there because we don’t have anything that states that. When we put no there as an answer it asks job offer and LMIA to provide (which we have but I that case the WP won’t be open but closed).
Sorry for the long post but I am at lost here.I called CIC but no agent could help me with that specific question!

Also, we don’t have restrictions on our nominee so I assume we are eligible for an BOWP.

Please advice my friends
Thank you for your time :)

Yep that is AoR , and you will have to answer YES to that question, because you have AOR and that means you are eligible for PR

Hi
me n my spouse applied for PNP PR and waiting for PPR.(Criminality in process from JULY 2018)
last year we applied for BOWP and it expired on june 2018.then we both applied for extension and it got rejected stating that my spouse didnt pay the employer compliance fee.
as of my knowledge those who dont want LMIA and apply work permit through 204c letter(AINP NOMINATION) they only have to pay the employer compliance fee.
so my question is
*is it possible to extend BOWP ?
*once BOWP expires what's next ?
*Since our extension refused what we have to do for staying in canada ?

if anyone have idea on this please reply. Thank You

Yes, I did the same thing for this question as Kaur2 told me. I have selected YES for this question and submitted for my BOWP couple days ago.

Jan 16 2017 applicant waiting for PPR

Call them yesterday and he told me I can’t see anything in your file and officer not left any note . Everything is clear and ready for decision.

Agent told me he gonna write a note to officer so that he can make a decision or tell the reason why they holding file for no reason.

So basically there is no time limit for processing file . I apply two work permit and submitted two medical as first one was expire.

So tired and frustrating seriously.

I m single applicant. But the good thing i like about cic is that they approved my friend's application 1.5 years ago but not mine.they sent my application for verification when we both were at the same position working for same employer same wages .

Try to apply in Express entry. It is not worth it to wait that long

Good lord. That's so unfair. You could go for mandamus at this point.

No, the last update I got was from about 3 weeks ago. They were working on my husband's criminality, someone they should have done months ago.
