If your nomination certificate has no employment restriction , you are eligible to apply for BOWP. When you apply for BOWP you dnt need to submit PnP certificate. You will only need to submit PR AoR . But still if you want you can submit expired one.

I had closed work permit but no employment restriction on BcPNP certificate. I applied for BOwP in july and got it.

24 months is a long time. What do they say when you contact them? Have you ordered gcms notes? What does it say about your security? Have you ordered gcms notes from CSIS??

Whenever I asked the status, they say the BG in process. No time line.In my GCMS report the security pages are hidden with those s21 and s26 points. The location is: PS
Never ordered GCMS note from CSIS. How would you do that? Any more/better info from that GCMS note from CSIS? Thanks.

Just found how to apply for GCMS note from CSIS. At the beginning of GCMS online application. i believe, I have to select the department as "Canadian Security Intelligence Service". What kind of info I should type in the box that says "Please provide details regarding the personal information being sought (i.e. competition number, file name or number, location, etc). Please be as specific as possible. (maximum 1,500 characters)"?? Any suggestions?

I was asked to send my resume on July 03, and I sent it on July 04. They received that July 18, since then no update. Jan. 27 applicant.

My MP contacted them in MAY and they said ‘file is pending review and requires additional verifications.’ In JULY they asked me to submit fingerprints . I got gcms notes in july my security is blank. I am a single applicant. I don’t call them anymore.

Ur security is passed. Just wait for few days u will get ppr for sure

Security blank means that what ever the notes or comments were, the information has been hidden and it’s blank and on top right corner of gcms notes it’s written s21z

I applied for notes from CSIS 4 days ago. I just wrote that processing time for my application is up and file is in background check. I would like more information on my file. That was all. Let’s see. They also say it will take 30 days to get back!

They just send you one letter that too by post no email and no 200 page notes

Do you have any update on ecas about the additional documents? Cz this is the last step if process wherin they do the final review and ask for additional docs.

On July 25, my ecas was updated to "they received the additional documents that I provided". Since then no update. It's been over 50 days!!!
