when I was just starting this whole thing (applying for PNP first, etc.) it went from 12 months to 14. Then when I applied it went from 14 to 16. Then 16 to 18. Now it's 18 to 19. And I'm sure it's not even the end of it.

I'm fuming.
wow no wonder its common sense if teh security takes teh biggest portion of time start that first makes no logical sense plus you woudl think you woudl want to confirm people in your country currently are safe at teh beginning not teh end crazy

Let's all tweet at the press, like CBC. Tag them in your Facebook posts. Who knows, maybe they will take interest in this

the fact that some of 2018 applicants got their MR, Eligibility and Criminality done already doesn't prove anything. They will be sitting in the same last stage as us for another year anyway.
Lol. I hope that is true.. All frustration coming out but what about the oct/nov 2017 applicants that already got PPR. It is a matter of luck.

what I'm also fuming about is that so far I've received two visitor visas, one study permit and two work permits to Canada, one would assume all the checks have been done so many times during those, but no, I have to go through them again. and again. and again...

i haven't seen any PPRs from Oct/Nov, can you please share the link?
I only saw August 2017 PRs, and only a couple, so I don't base my opinion on them.

What's more infuriating is taking 19 months to process people that have already been pre-screened by the Provincial Nominee Streams and who hold degrees in Canada, have money in a savings account, have good IELTs scores and spent 1500 dollars for a nomination while other, less qualified people get processing times, 3, 4 even 5 times faster.
