Dear Friend,
For PR Application Police Clearance Certificate hard copy is must. It is not about 3 Months expiry. One PCC hard copy is enough to finish complete PR Application processing. (PR - Provincial Nominee is 18 Months as per CIC Website)

Over last week I gathered information and learned that many countries have started providing digital copy of pcc including UAE (also confirmed by couple of my friends who applied from UAE thru EE). Also I called up CIC and the agent confirmed that they do accept digital copy of pcc but not many officers are aware of that , he suggested that just write an letter with detailed explanation and that should be enough. Hope this sheds some light on this topic for those facing similar situation.

Actually I am dependent, my wife is in Canada.
They will stamp the visa only in Canada?
I heard that we can send an email to Ottawa and request them to instruct the embassy in our country of residence to stamp the visa, I don't know about COPR. Is it possible?

Usually when we receive PPR it is clearly mention that we can send passport only to Ottawa?

I didn't heard any ppr news from anyone from last few weeks? I dnt know whts going on :/ some January applicants still waiting. I am feb 9 applicant didn't get any update yet after medical passed. Hope to get golden email soon.

October people even? That would already be over the 18 months right? At this point I just hope they keep their word and do it in the promised time because my Nomination took 10 months to be issued (they claim 90 days).

I checked the other group some november and december applicant are getting their updates and some are given PPR since yesterday. Hopefully we're next provided the officer in charge is in the mood in giving away PPR. It's so mysterious how they issue PPR

Medical Request: June 2017
Add Dependents: July 2017(got married added my wife's name)
Medical Dependent: Upfront on Dec 2017
Dependent fee: Fee Jan 2018
Questionaries Request: Feb 14, 2018(question list about marriage details)
Security Started: Feb 18
PPR Req: May 14.
Passport sent: MAy 15.

It took me almost 23 months to complete my process.

Congrats man, you have waited for a long time. Did they tell you why did it take 23 months?. I added my wife later like you, and I am from the middle east ?
