Are you kidding me Nav
We applied in Feb and my security is not started, how can you security start
Cmon man just sit back and relax.
Calm down, nobody ever said that date of "application received" is the only factor they are looking at. They have to consider your NOC, province and even your city/town where you have a job, because some places have lack of workers for example. It also depends on the place of birth and countries you have ever lived in or visited. That is why they were asking for your travel history for example. Also, the processing time IRCC provides is based on some average, but to have this average, you also need some people with way longer or way shorter waiting time. We have a nice saying in my country, in English it will be something like this: "Wish luck to the others and then even you will be given luck."
Be patient, only few more weeks and it will be over. PPR is almost on way.
P.S. I am also Feb 2017 applicant and I am still waiting for my medical to be "passed" because I was affected by IRCC glitch.

It's funny how foreign workers who have been working/living in Canada for multiple years are being vetted to the core while ISIS terrorists are let in Canada without any background/security check at all.

Hi jasent

I did my landing at IRCC office in Edmonton, you can either land at border which doesn't require any appointment or you can land at IRCC's local immigration office in your city, for that you have to book an appointment first. Usually it takes 2-3 weeks to get you an appointment date.
Than you go to service canada to change your sin number.
