Hi everyone!

Just got my Medical Request today.

BcPnP inland paper based
App sent Dec 21 2016
File number Feb 6 2017
RPRF Oct 2017
MR Jan 8 2018

Good luck

Great news! it looks like time of processing becoming faster. 10 months from AOR to MR sounds not too bad ( I was threatening by applicants of Aug/Sep 2016 who were receiving MR only in 14 months by Nov 2017)

How about medical fee ?

That is why you should wait for the paper from CIC. This whole PR process has some steps that should be followed. When is your time - you will get it. You won't get your PR faster just because you did upfront medical. (I have few friends that did that and actually got their PR later than other people who waited for the paper).

Honestly, I really don't understand all this rush with doing UPFRONT medical exam. And if you ask me - this is also unfair to other people who are patiently waiting 'in the line' for their medical request.

Amen.

Couldn’t agree more with you. There’s really not much anyone can do to make the process faster. The officers know what they are doing, and things have to be done strategically. Everyone is eventually going to get there, we could all use some chill pills for now.

Exactly, we all waited so long (and still waiting) but our time is coming.
Let's just enjoy the moment... :)

Good to know i am also waiting now!!

I paid $225 to the doctor. $42 the the blood test (apparently Alberta health card doesn't cover Immigration cost) and $78 for chest X-ray.
