i have received my GCMS note in last week and right now my application transferred for PS. Does anyone have any idea about PS.

I did upfront medical too. do we have to send any docs to cic or how can we let them know that I have did upfront medical?

I would like to do an upfront medical for me and my spouse and the doctor is asking for a letter which has IME number and file number.
what is IME number and what letter can i present for my spouse as i am doing it upront.

IME is the number that’s on the Medical Report form you receive when you get MR.

but what if i want to do upfront medicals cic has not yet requested for my medical exams.
That is why you should wait for the paper from CIC. This whole PR process has some steps that should be followed. When is your time - you will get it. You won't get your PR faster just because you did upfront medical. (I have few friends that did that and actually got their PR later than other people who waited for the paper).

Honestly, I really don't understand all this rush with doing UPFRONT medical exam. And if you ask me - this is also unfair to other people who are patiently waiting 'in the line' for their medical request.
