Why was your work permit refused? Can't you file a bridge open permit using your AOR number?
They refused it as i missed paying 100 dollars which is open work permit fees so now i have to re apply. Not sure as cic agents says it will be closed permit but my consultant says i can still apply for open work permit.

Hey i just got email for rrpf but i did upfront medical.

I'm just confused a bit because i received an email requesting for RPRF & Police certificate but when i checked my cic account/Gckey there's no message. Is that the same thing happened to you?

Actually i called cic and checked with agent and he told me that rrpf has been received. I cannot check online as i have representative associated with my account. So had to call them n ask them .

N yes sometimes it doesn't say in cic account for eg in my case it says online that additional documents were requested. And it says for the same day when my landing fees was requested so i guess it might show as same for you too.

None of us who have their application received date on January 2017 have got any medical request, considering the current trend It might take upto March 2018 according to my understanding & please dont take my word as granted..

August & September 2016 applicants just received medical request last week & its November 2017. You can guess!

The best thing that we can do for ourselves is to relax and wait for cic to act. They will send medical request when the time is right, there’s absolutely nothing we can do to speed up the process. I have some friends that check their MyCIC account daily for updates, I find this highly unnecessary and emotionally draining. Let’s all focus on our daily activities and think less about the entire process of this application. There’s always a light at the end of a tunnel.

Hi , Here my Timeline
Inland PNP PR Applicant
Application Received Date: 12 jan.2017
AOR: March 2017

Received a letter in October to submit RRPF and police certificate (with all addresses on it).
Submitted required documents on 26 October (attached directly into online application).

Application Status in CIC Account:
Review of additional documents: We need more documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details.
I am not sure why still it is saying that “We need more documents” I already sent the required ones two weeks ago.I am wondering if anybody else submitted the additional documents have similar situation?

Hi ks231, I have started this thread for 2017 INLAND applicants. I welcome you to join since it would help with your queries and others with similar timelines.

I have two questions for you.

1) How did you submit the upfront medicals before the request from IRCC? I mean through CSE or you mailed them ?
2) What is pre-arrival services notification?

Oh is it ?? Cos i did and i had to withdraw as cic agent told me that for me that in order to apply for open work permit i need to have valid work permit and mine is already expired so i can not.

Hi ali9i,

1) For the upfront medicals, you have to go to an authorized medical center and request upfront medical exams, then they will create for you an IME# and after all the test are done the clinic will submit the medical test report to IRCC directly. They will also give you an information sheet, I scanned and submitted the information sheet to IRCC by Case Specific Enquiry online. In the CSE, I told them that I would like to attach the medical results to my PR application. After around 2 weeks I saw in my GCkey account and ECAS that shows "You passed the medical exam".

2) About the Pre-arrival Services notification, I am not really sure, I haven't heard of this before either. Just today I received a message in my GCkey, and the message is a letter named "Invitation to Pre-arrival services" and it basically says that "you and your dependants can now receive pre-arrival services offered by Canada". I've seen other people in this forum that have received this letter.

Hope it helps,
Regards,
