Hi guys I have a question

I am April 2017 Applicant and passed my Medical on Mar 25, 2018. Hoping to receive PPR by July hopefully.

Can anybody tell me if I can leave my current job? Can I leave it and wait for the Process to get done. I am on a closed work permit so I wont be able to work anywhere else but can I leave this job at this stage. Thanks

Me too expecting , in the July month April 2017 applicants will get PPR.
My suggestion is don’t leave job. You are at end of the process. Don’t take unnecessary headaches in the last moment.

Hey, we are on the same boat, applied Feb 9, AOR March 26, 2 medical requests... security check not started yet :/ Applied with a spouse as well

Then this is whh your application is taking longer you need medicals for your partner and kids, the 14 months timeline is for single people since its only one check and medical

I would love to know lol. It says my bg check is in process since Feb 27, but when I asked an agent, i was told that my security hasnt started yet. So it is probably not the same thing :/

Sept 20 , 2016 applicant ..same as you guys ...bgip from February 27, but security not started yet.
Really worried and stressed.

Medical Request Feb 12, 2018
Medical Passed April 14, 2018
May 28, 2018 MyCIC says "Updated"
Now waiting for PPR...

we all passed our medicals on teh same day 16th Jan 2017 so i dont think this is the case tbh

hey unfort you cnnot get a open work permit kust anotehr closed one as im the same visa expires in July closed employeer and closed Prov I had to get in touch with the prov that nominated me for a new letter of support
