I have question.
Some people write BGIP in their timeline.
Does BGIP is the step when the application is in Sydney checking all the documents are done (such as Schedule A and PCC) or it is in Ottawa stage?
Does BGIP starts when there is no more request of addional documents?

There’s 2 BGIP : Criminality and Security

Criminality is usually done in initial stages and Security is done in Final stage. They can ask for any document at any time, if CIC need more clarification in any section: Eligibility, Criminality, Medical and Security

Oh thank you for your reply.
My file is in Sydney and last two months, they keep asking me for PCC.
And last week, the document changed to Not Applicable.
Does it mean I am not BGIP stage yet?

When I logged in to my cic, on the very first page it normally says submitted but today it was updated.
When I logged out and logged in back after sometime it went back to submitted.

But I have representative so m not able to check my CIC account. please share your ECAS status and tell me if you can find any change over there as well.

Return tracking number (passport) activated today

Just had a conversation with CIC agent, she started with saying that i m not supposed to call as still 18months not passed.

Then she informed that the last note on my file was on April 19, 2018 stating that “Security Clearance has been Passed”

A great relief, so updated in MyCIC correspond to BG pass apparently!!

May I ask when your myCIC was updated? I had it updated since April 18. I am waiting for PPR.

Are you all guys applied with AINP? I guess applicants from Alberta who ever got updated did not get ppr yet.
Please mention your complete timeline with the province as well as inland or out-land as the one above. so that we can try to find whats going on with our application.
