I am Jan 08- 2016 applicants, Last Thursday I received email from CPC Ottawa to confirm if this is my correct email, I replied to that email but it has been a week now and there is no response so far. My question is that, Is there any other way i have to let them know that this is my correct email or reply to that email is enough?

Call em at the call centre, they are able to check your email with you and even change it if necessary. Ive done that before.

First time post here and I have good news. (PNP Ontario applicant, inland, single applicant)

Just got DM today, below is my timeline, hopefully this gives any other January applicants that are still waiting some hope and comfort.

Submission Jan 13, 2016
AOR Mar 21, 2016
Request for Police Certificate Aug 30, 2016 (submitted shortly after)
RPRF Fee Request Sep 11, 2016 (paid shortly after)
Medical request mid-Jan, 2017
Medical received Jan 27, 2017
GCMS notes show moved to PACE on Apr 18, 2017
Received an email from Ottawa office asking me to confirm email address Oct 12, 2017
DM Oct 27, 2017

Note the long delay from when it moved to PACE (Apr 18, 2017) to DM (Oct 27, 2017).
To other Jan 2016 applicants out there, do not despair. Best of luck to everyone.

Thanks for the update
How did you confirm your email? because they sent me email as well on Oct 19. I just replied to that email. Is that enough or should I call them?

I just replied to that email, basically saying "yes confirming this is the correct email address of [name, uci #]. I did get an auto "do not reply" notification after.

Can you share with us what response did you get when asking about processing time and application status?
@bcpnpmay16 - "your application is in the final stages of review prior to finalization and a decision should be rendered shortly. unfortunately, we are not able to provide you with a date on which your file will be completed. it is your responsibility to acquire the necessary VISA(s) for visiting, working or studying in Canada while your PR application is being processed. we do not require any information from you at the present time. An officer will contact you if further information is required."
