Hi, I am a March 31st applicant too. Thought my application would be easy. No spouse or kids. Fully checkable work history, no convictions, no employment in armed forces or similar. Been in Canada 4 years. But hey, who knows how they decide which applications to process first. As Lehbes said in an earlier post, perhaps they move your application along if you need to make a change for any reason, or if your MP makes an enquiry on your behalf.

Okay, so I got my latest gcms from early July.
Under admissibilities my security is now showing 1. Does that mean they are atleast working on it? Or does it mean they are completed working on it?

Also, in the sub activities it says security screening : not started ...

Hello Fred.

I thought you got it a week ago. Do not give up! You will get it soon, your turn now.

My Passport was received on July 14'th. Seems weird that it would take them this long to stamp a Visa. The process shouldn't be any different than stamping a Temp. Resident Visa or a Work Permit, but somehow PR Visa takes time. Weird.

My passport was received on June 26th
Return tracker just activated few hrs ago it's almost month from PPR
I got PPR on 23

Hi everyone
I had received my BC PNP on 7 dec 2015 and i had applied for my PR in Jan 2016 amd my medical was received in Jan 2017 but then i added mg wife's name in jan 2017. Her medical is received in april 2017 and then they asked for additional information on 16 march 2017 amd i send all information on 16 april 2017. Since then no status is changed and i am still waiting for the PPR .
Anyone of you have any idea

I wish to answer on your question.

It depends from officer. Some of them I guess more busy than others.

Same here, March 16 applicant. I have been in Canada for almost 7 years and they can easily check my previous applications for study/work permits. MR submitted on April 2 and still nothing yet. God knows what the heck they are doing. There's absolutely no reason for it to take this long. Now I have to apply for BOWP and spend $155! Not happy with the situation at all...

its actually $255 not $155

On CIC it says $155. Not sure if it's all I need to pay. Haven't submitted the application yet, still hoping to hear something from CIC this month.
$100 open work permit holder fee + $155 bowp application fee = $255

Oh that's even "better". Just got a message from CIC asking me to submit my new passport copy, which I did in May right after I got my new passport. So apparently they are not checking the additional docs you submit. This is frustrating.
