Just wondering how many Jan - Feb - March applicants are yet to get PPR. Let's update each other.

I am a March 9 applicant and still nothing.

8 Jan 2016 applicant here, BG in progress since 22 April 2017, still waiting for DM/PPR

I checked my GCMS notes again. We did our medicals in Dec 13t 2016, and it was received on December 29 2016.
My ECAS doesn't update properly, so I don't know how long it took from my medical to background check to go in process. I only know my crminality has been in process since last year, and sometime after mid-June they have also started my security check.

how many days it took to your background check to go to in process from not applicable after upfront medical?

one more question, once you done upfront medical, even how many days it took to received and passed ?

hello guys ......nybody from march or april ......any updates today......cic was suppose to update today but i dont see any changes to my application .....PR and WORK PERMIT........i dont know how long this is gona take.....wished if they had rejected this paper based PNP when i applied and i culd apply express entry.......

i have one question. any applicant who got ppr recently did cic receive their file in march 2016 or they got aor in march 2016? How cic sending ppr on base of application received date or the month they (applicant) got aor?

This PNP is utter waste of time and energy. People are waiting for over 17 months while express entry approved in 3 months. For economic immigration this processing standard is unacceptable. CIC should scrap out paper based applications and integrate us into express entry or at least have reduced processing times. What a frustration beyond words to explain!

I contacted Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on your behalf. Immigration officials advised that the application was received January 6, 2016. The eligibility and medicals are passed, criminality back ground check is in progress, the security check has not yet been initiated.



Immigration officials have also advised that since you have a Permanent Residence application in process under the Provincial Nominee program that you can apply to extend your Work Permit.
