Passport received at Ottawa today, July 14'th. Hope I get it back sometime this month.

My passport was received on Monday,10.

I phoned them and was told that I should expect passport back on 24 of July (if evereything will be going well).

Hi everybody I have a query. I'm an inland paper applicant and sent my papers in Oct 2016 and I got my AOR in Jan 2017. My work permit expires on July 20th this month. I have already applied for BOWP last month. So my query is that can I change my job now. I got my BC PNP as a food service supervisor but now I'm a getting a better high paying job. I just don't like working at this job anymore and they haven't gave me a raise in last two and half years. I'm confused please help. Thanks

Hello, I'm also an inland applicant, I got an AB PNP however. In my opinion, it should not be an issue since BOWP is an open work permit, you're not restricted to any employers, you may still need to stay in the province that has nominated you thou (which will be specified on the BOWP, you will see when you get it). I changed my job in another city during the process as well, no issue ( I recently got a medical request, so I'm assuming everything is fine).

In my opinion, it should not be an issue since BOWP is an open work permit, you're not restricted to any employers, you may still need to stay in the province that has nominated you thou (which will be specified on the BOWP, you will see when you get it). If u dont update them nd ur employer was gud
Then ur good
According to them if u r pnp pr applicant u can't change ur employer without updating them.
Many applicant change their jobs nd dont update them nd get PR
Thats all about to take risk if they will find out or not....

I'm on the post grad stream, I didn't need my previous employer to sponsor me.

I only check my status at cic pr status.ca

I have same thing showing since October 2016 "in process"

During PR process it can create problem
But after PR u r permanent resident nd ur work permit (either closed or open) is a useless paper...
