Applied to CIC: February 2016

Application received by CIC: March 14 2016

Application processing started: 11 April 2016

Medical results received by CIC

Paid for Right to Permanent Residency fees in October 2016

But since there has been no update. The current processing time is 16 months for paper applications under the PNP program and my application is right at 16 months now. But no outcome yet. Called the CIC and was told my file is waiting security clearance by CSIS. Is anyone else in a similar situation? Thank you in advance for replying!

I applied in Jan 2016 under BC PNP. I'm still waiting . No update yet .

I wonder if there is anything we could do as January applicants. There must be a reason why our cases are still open while March applicants are getting their PRP's already. Maybe talk to a news outlet? Something to bring awareness to our situation?

Yup. Applied Feb 2016. BG in progress end of may . Nothing since then.

I'm from a country that is not visa exempt but my partner is from a visa exempt country. Does anyone know if I have to send both passports or if I can send my passport and photocopy of my partners passport?
