the courious case of early jan applicants
what might have happened, documents lost or something!!!

For me, they are actually losing my stuff as they requested me to send them a receipt of PRPF that I paid last August and submitted a receipt last Sep I think.

It has been almost a year after payment and now you guys are asking me a receipt again?? wtf.... what are you doing there...and I paid through cic and entered my information when I paid....what is wrong your system we are in 21 century...

The officer who is handling early January applicants does not seem organized, well-trained worker there.

When i applied I added my wife in my application as well. She is not in Canada. I have only received PPR on my email. Can any one who has experienced the whole thing share process with me. What do i do next? I don't see my wife's name in Passport Request.

A good way to verify if they accepted you RPRF is to log into ecas using your Receipt number. If you make it through, them it implies your payment is on file.

Am i the only February applicant here who left behind?
Just want to share., I spoke to an agent this morning, I asked her if thers something wrong withmy application? If it is a complex case? She said, she cant see anything wrong with my application to be considered as s complex case, because everything looks fine. And if the application delayed for a period of time it doesnt mean that it is a complex case already. She said she will send a messages (i dont know to whom) to remind them that my time frame already past. Im hoping it would help..

Im a Feb 11 applicant.. i just dont understand that if theres nothing wrong with our application then what takes them so long to finalized it? It is just so frustrating...

Rest Assured. Jan 8, 2016 applicant still waiting. Hehe.
My MP told me that the document says I am queueing for the 2nd officer to do a final review.
CIC told me I have passed every check 2 months ago. Don't know why need a 2nd officer to do a final review.

Eligibility - passed
criminality - passed
security - ......nothing....just unfilled space...

and I dont understand what is it - started or not started or passed or.....what???

And MyCIC says -
Background check - We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision - Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.
BG in progress since April 13.

My BG in progress since April 25. Security is wiped out as well.
