Sent my passport last june 26, how long does it take for my visa to get stamped?

Well...passports were successfully sent out to Ottawa on 6 July. 1 Aprill inland applicant

Anny ideas when I should begin to check the tracking number? Like they will get it on Monday and maybe in a week CIC will send it back.

Based on the precedent, return tracker doesnt get activated till the morning of the delivery date. so it gets activated and a few hours later, they deliver it.
Mine is still not activated and i called CIC today and they said it was sent out yesterday. people in ottawa who were approved on the same day as me, same thing. their tracker was activated this morning and it was delivered to them this morning too.
Call to confirm it was sent out, you will receive in 2 business days

It usually takes 3 weeks as of now, to get passport back. If I get before that, I will take it as Surprise

What's your status right now? Did your security check pass?

my GSMC showed :
Eligibility - passed
criminality - passed
security - ......nothing....just unfilled space...

and I dont understand what is it - started or not started or passed or.....what???

And MyCIC says -
Background check - We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision - Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.
BG in progress since April 13.

5 months ago my friend sent it on Monday and received it back in 7 days on next Monday.

My very close friend was in the same batch, but i pushed him to apply for bowp
Within a week he got ppr but that was in mid april
His medical was requested in november

Jan 11/2016 applicant here.

This is the information we got from our MP yesterday:

IRCC Update:

· We can provide you with the following details about the status of your application for permanent residence under the Provincial Nominee Program:

· The application was received at the Centralized Intake Office on January 11, 2016.

· The responsible office has reviewed the application and documents submitted to determine if you and your family members meet the eligibility requirements under the class for which they have applied.

o The eligibility assessment has been finalized on September 10, 2016.

· The medical examination results are on file and valid until February 8, 2018 for XXXX and until February 9, 2018 foR XXXX.

· The criminality verifications have been in process since March 19, 2016.

· The security verifications have not yet been initiated.

· Requested documents have been received on March 20, 2017 and are being assessed.

· As per our current processing times, it may take up to 16 month(s) to finalize the application. However, processing times indicated on our website are approximate, and can vary with each individual case.

Almost 18 months now, I honestly don't understand what's going on with the January applications as I see many people from March getting their PR's already. Good luck to all of us

hello guys

I hv applied for PR online e-App through EE on 19th jan 2016 after getting SINP nomination on 25th dec 2015 & ITA on 6th jan 2016. Then I hv submit the schedule 4 form on 22nd jan. the last status update was on 30th jan 2016 showing medical status passed. And then no update till date.

Is everything all right or how much more time it will take.

Can anyone suggest me what would be the next update after this and related to what?

And the status on more documents needed is provided. What it exactly means?

Do I need to send hard copy of documents and application to CIC in case of SINP through EE sub-category skilled worker.


How would one can know about his visa office ? I mean which visa office is processing my application.
