I am single applicant and they did not ask additional doc from me .. wait for 1-2 day you will also get good news soon

i have same timeline with yours, bg to in process last Friday but no DM yet.... may i know how many applicants do you have? And have you been asked for additional documents? As i've updated my Schedule A last Oct, probably that might delay the process...

I just sent him an email.. Can they speed up process?

They dont speed up by pressing any switch, but they will contact officer who is dealing with ur file which creates movement in ur file if it got stuck some where or officer will provide information about whats going on.
I think you should call if ur not in canada or visit MP office if ur in canada

Just an update: I got in touch with the call center. They said that my application is nearing completion and they have put a due date of June 22 + up to 4 months...Waiting for some things from security.

Has this happened to others?

JAN 4th 2016 applicant, almost 18 month, BG still not Applicable.
This is what I got from the MP:
The security verifications have not yet been initiated.
The file was referred to the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa, Ontario for further assessment on June 1, 2017.
How long for PPR?

DM on April 13,2017
Waited for PPR for more then 2 months finally went to MP office and it worked.

This is crazy. Did u get DM? and whats your nationality? I think the delays are for certain nationalities only. I am from Pakistan.

No bro, no DM. I am from India and I have been in canada for 7 years now.

I am Alberta resident
My decision was made on April 13,2017 I called to CIC couple of time they replied your file is in queue for preparing COPR.
I requested GCMS notes on May 16, 2017 and received on June 14,2017 I GCMS notes I noticed that when my decision was made and file transfer to issue visa but my file was not assigned to any visa officer (my file was floating for 2 months) on June 14, 2017 I went to MP office and discussed that issue with his secretary. He said we will send them enquiry about your file you may drop by to our office next week for follow up. But I received PPR request today.
