Nationality :Indian
Applied under Ontario PNP
Living in Windsor , Ontario
Working for past 2.5 years . Traveled to India 2 times after i came to Canada
I have few doubts which could delay my application .
1) I went to Iceland last October for 10 days vacation , I got Speeding Ticket there .
2) I applied Visitor Visa for my Fiancee in March , Which was approved
3) Since i live in Windsor I cross US border many times
4) Once I stayed in states for 4 months for work reason !! i was paid in Canada While I was in States .
nothing Else complicate in my case !! lol
What does your GCMS say? does it say "complex case"?
If so, I guess your file is in the round-robin table in CPC-O. It seems the "final" process normally takes 3-6 month.
1) I went to Iceland last October for 10 days vacation , I got Speeding Ticket there .
No problem.
2) I applied Visitor Visa for my Fiancee in March , Which was approved
If you applied the visa on behalf of her, there's a slim chance that CIC might look if this falls into common law. It's cultural difference that Canadian barely do something on behalf otherwise family or paid, even not for fiancee.
3) Since i live in Windsor I cross US border many times
You may be caught by CBSA screening. I know one of my friend drives semi-truck had 6 month delay on his PR for CBSA check, since he crosses border everyday.
4) Once I stayed in states for 4 months for work reason !! i was paid in Canada While I was in States .
Same reason as above. They may want to look at your CBSA and CBP(US) screening.
I know Indian has no deep security check in terms of national affairs, simply terrorism. India is terrorism-free.
If both contacting MP and GCMS take the same 30 days, I would order GCMS back-to-back. It's way more clear and informative. CIC doesn't care about MP's push (does MP even push CIC for faster process? I doubt...)
