I am Jan 4th applicant, and just called CIC.
The agent told me that my Security Check is passed, and the application is approved.
However, the agent doesn't know when the PPR will come to me.
So this situation may work for you guys as well. Call CIC and may get more information about any updates.

You r right, the problem is that all the information I got from CIC is just for reference, the ppr letter from Ottawa is the real thing which matters. So what I should do is just to wait for the letter appears in my email box

me too. Jan 13 applicant. upfront Medical - DEC medical passed. after that nothing changed yet. my friends (applicants Jan 20 25) got a PPR this week already. now I'm worried.

I guess it comes down to nationalities at the end of the day.
Like if you are from the middle east except for maybe syria (which gets special attention) you end up waiting.

RPRF could be paid at any time. some people pay it with their application, others pay it later.
Mostly, MR will be around one year after you send your file to CIC.
I sent mine on Jan 15th, MR on Feb 1st next yr.

I think after MR, only 60% applicants gets result based on Received date, rest all depends on individual case. Time may vary for those.

My friend from Pakistan, he has to wait 17 months when the processing time was just 12 months on average. Though he has zero security or criminality issues
