I think after MR, only 60% applicants gets result based on Received date, rest all depends on individual case. Time may vary for those.

Individual case being nationality unless you have a criminal record.
Some Iranians on June 2015 thread are getting PPRs just now which is just ridiculous. I am glad I am not from Iran.

Dont worry u will get result by next month. Agent have to give you maximum date because they have to follow processing time guidelines.

Hi guys..I am about to get AINP in 2 weeks and my work permit is expiring end of May 16 So let me know what should I do first...Should I file PR with cic first.Then wait for acknowledge letter and then file for work permit extension which is a bridge visa......let me know if I'm wrong....I am really tensed as my wp is expiring in May this year.....So plz guide me guys

Hi Juggy!

You can use your AINP but don't forget that your employer must fill and pay a form for you. My husband was nominated too, and he couldn't extend his WP because he didn't get this form from his employer.!

I guess it comes down to nationalities at the end of the day.
Like if you are from the middle east except for maybe syria (which gets special attention) you end up waiting.

I got PPR on 20 April 2017 and sent passport copy & picutre on 21 April 2017.
CIC recived my ppr on 25 April.

Today, My backgound changed "your background check was completed" and final decision also changed "your application was approved" I hope to get COPR within next week!!

Congrats! Same here. Sent passport and photos on April 21 and received on April 24th. But my cic hasn't changed since..hoping to get it back next week!!

Is your application straightforward? Are you from a visa exempt country? Maybe you have adverse information on your file and they need to investigate further. I would call them if i were you as you have been past your 16 month processing time.
