same, anyone can help us out?

Me too a few weeks ago. I got both "medical is accepted" and "background not needed at this point".
I also received a new passport, is it possible to send them a copy of this passport through email? or do I have to send through mail?

thanks.

"Background check not needed at this time"
means you've done criminality check. The process seems being in the following order:
Eligibility - Criminality - Medical - Background - Overall Final
Criminality and background are to be shown as "background" in ECAS/myCIC. Some of you haven't done medical, please expect medical as a next step. Note that Oct-Nov 2015 applicants are receiving MR nowadays.

Nuksyed, your medical has been received, so you're in medical stage. Once you passed medical then you will be brought forwarded to background check again. So I would say this is the perfect timing to update passport and schedule A. You may send your photocopy of the passport via Case Specific Enquiry. The answer is both CSE and regular mail work.

Butthat is the thing. For some reason, I had done upfront medical, so medical shows as "passed", does that mean I am past background check and medical too?

BC PNP application - July 2015
PNP nomination received- September 2015
PR application sent- October 2015
Application package returned- January 2016
PR application sent/ received -March 2016
Application fee- August 2016
RPRF - October 17, 2016

Wondering why they asked for RPRF first before medical request?

They asked me for the rprf before medicals too.
I think it's quite normal.
In fact, many people i know sent rprf with their application.

Your file may have been moved from "the bin before med" to "the bin after med". Guessing you've passed criminality, your security will be examined next.

It's for a reason. I've been told that they changed the order of process to eliminate potential delay.
1. Lots of cases that RPRF has not been paid until final decision and make delay.
2. Lots of cases that medical exam expired before the immigrants finalize landing.
So, they put medical exam to the later of whole process and put RPRF first.

Hello everyone,

I applied for PR after my AINP nomination.
I was nominated under Engineering category.
File received by CIC on June 13, 2016.
Received my AOR on Spet 23, 2016.

My question is:
Can i change my job which doesn't fall under Engineering category? Or do I have to stick to those particular NOCs that are under Engineering category only?

Thanks.

Background check will be goes "IN PROCESS" in last couple of months in process when IRCC will review final decision on file.

For passport you can update it via case specific inquiry, email (cio-sydney-search-enquiry@cic.gc.ca) and/or mail. I did all 3 ways and within couple of weeks it was updated on my file.

It's just a month since they have received your application package. It will take approx 2.5 to 3 months to receive AOR so keep patients. Once you receive AOR; IRCC will update your application for online view also.

Hi all, I have a question about bridging work permit and hoping if any one can help.

I got my AINP nomination from Ontario (masters stream- No job offer ) on June 8th 2016 , my application for PR was received by CIC on July 12th 2016, and Im hoping to get AOR any day. (Im Inland)

My current open work permit which I got after completion of my master degree will expire on Feb 27th 2017.
I'm planning to apply for the Bridging work permit hopefully in DEC, and Im travelling home from Dec 16th to JAN 4th
here is my questions:

1- Is it ok if I apply before travelling? my current status and TRV will still be valid until FEB 2017 but is it ok if I apply and leave for 2 weeks? or is it better if I apply when I come back?

2- do I go on implied status when my current work permit expires or when I apply for a new work permit?

2- can I apply for a new TRV at the same time of applying for the bridging work permit, or do I have to wait for the permit to come first and then get the TRV.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF US

Thanksss

Recently,is there anybody has got the MR? Just waitting for so long long time..........
