Would changing job cause any delay in processing of the application?

No it doesn't. We have to upload new offer letter and cover letter through case specific enquiry. In cover letter mention that your new job NOC code and tell them that it belongs to NOC O, A or B. Also tell them that, you moved to new job after confirming with your Provincial PNP.

If they need more information, they will approach you or your new employer. I did some research before I change my employer. Mostly they are not concerned about change of employment due to PNP support.

Thanks for sharing this. Like, I've been nominated by BCPNP, like you said, I've to inform PNP office first for an approval and then for how long do they take to respond that it (your new job) has been approved?

When we get new offer, we have to email it to BC PNP and they will take 2 to 3 weeks to get back to you. By that time, we might loose the new offer.

In my case, I know who is my immigration officer. I went to BC PNP office in Robson street at 9 am and asked 5 mints time of my officer at front desk. My officer is in meeting and I waited till 11am. Then I met my officer in person and explained her potential reason for changing my employer.

She requested all employer documents which are in BC PNP application check list ( Which I expected and kept them ready). I forwarded her those documents by 2pm. She responded to my email by 4pm saying that "Due to I am on open work permit, I can work for any employer in Canada. Since, my new job offer belongs to NOC B; BC PNP will continue support for my immigration ". I gave Two weeks notice to my old employer and moved to next one.

Good luck buddy ;)

Cool, actually, I've also been to that office many times. Thanks a ton for the information though.

Today I received an email from cic which said : Your application has been updated
the only change was the one I observed yesterday as the background check is not needed at this time.
