Yeah, so wait for it going back in progress again (which could take another few months may be as you said you still waiting for medical). The pattern could be like this, you would get medical request, then medical passes and then back ground changes again in progress followed by PPR. This whole process will take up big chunk of processing time
Correct, I second that.

Any idea about how long is the "big chunk of processing time" as it's been already 9 months since I applied for federal? Thanks.

3 months for AOR

6-8 months after AOR for medical

4-6 months after medical for PPR

2 months after PPR for Decision made

This is standard processing time for PNP Inland application. some might will go faster and some a lot longer than this. As there are still few on April, May 2015 thread waiting for PPR.

Ah, good to know. I am still in the "6-8 months after AOR for medical", close to 6 months. You are right. Long way to go. This wait seems to be forever.

Thanks for all the help. Have a great weekend.

Hi guys.

I have a question please. I have received that reminder email too. I'd like to upload a case specific enquiry. Now, which Type of application/enquiry should I choose?
Is it "verification of status, replacement and amendments of documents" ???

Some says it is, while some says "Overseas Permanent Residence." Indeed, it's confusing.

I actually tried both, but the later option seems legit since once you choose "Overseas Permanent Residence", then you will have sub-category "Provincial Nominees".

This is upsetting. I got laid off just last week. Not sure if the change of my employment has any impact on

1 - bridging open work permit
2 - PR application under PNP

I got AOR in March 2016. Early Sept, I received a message from CIC to request a police certificate from a third country. But I didn't stay that country over 6 months so I sent a case specific inquire to explain. 2 weeks later, I received an email indicated that the documents I provided was forwarded to an officer and Days later I received an email says there's an update on my account..as a logged in it still shows 'need additional doc from applicant. Not sure long home it will take to update my application after I provided the explanation to CIC. Hope I will be cot acted soon for medical exam

my timeline
Federal 21 January
File Number 5 April
Got Married in April in Canada
Applied for spouse in June
Still waiting for meds everything else were sent initially

It does not affect your application in any way. Linking your application only helps you getting better notification and updates on your file.
