I just remembered that my BG was "in progress" for a couple of months between August 2016 and October 2016. When I received RPRF request and paid it on October 31, 2016, my BG status changed from "in process" to "not applicable". Does anyone know what this means? What does it mean when BG changes from "in process" to "not applicable"?

Here's my timeline:
Application received on April 25, 2016
AOR on May 19, 2016
RPRF on October 31, 2016
Meds request on May 1, 2017
Meds done on May 3, 2017

Which means your file is going into hibernation. You will see it goes to "in process" when your security check begins.

Just I spoke with CIC, I am Jan 11th applicant. My background check is In Progress since Apr 17th.
I asked them, can I expect my PPR with in 16 months (today is last day for 16 months).
She said, 16 months is approximate time and CIC is 30 to 45 days behind their schedule. But for sure we will get PPR soon.
I felt like crazy.

if somebody's Work permit is expired and that person applied for another work permit before the expiry of current work permit.....that person is in implied status and that person can legally work.

The agent told me that my application is approved, and waiting for PPR.
He said he cannot notify the officer to send PPR even over 16 months, but he saw there is a next update date 'Jun 10th'.
He said a 'notify' button after Jun 10th will appear in his interface.
If i haven't received PPR on Jun 10th, he will be able to click on the above button to notify the officer.
Do you guys think it is pretty crazy???

This is crazy. There are many people here who have been told that they will receive an update on June 10th!
I think we should not expect anything until then
