Jan 4th applicant here. I got Decision Made on April 13th, but no further update.

My ecas changed to decision made on 13th April and I got my PPR mail on 19th April, 2017.

Looks like a similar case as mine they took a year to process,did u guys submit a driving abstract from Australia.

We submitted the traffic report from Queensland Traffic Dep. as it was asked in the first place.
And for additional doc, we sent IRCC all the emails back and force between court and us that we've got no sentences nor convictions and
all the receipts for the speeding tickets from the Queensland Traffic Dep.

I had same from Melbourne 4 speeding tickets and my criminalaty was in process from January 2016 and in march 2017 was passed due to delays because of this fines from Australia,so I ordered gcms and its says these offences don't equate to canadian criminal convictions there for criminalaty status passed.so as u can see it took a year to view my file again I ordered more than 5 gcms and went my local mp on February niki ashton ,and i was so worried about taking time can't bear the pain i gone through ,as everyone around me got ppr .so finally decision made and.i call cic and they told me my application was approved and its been 8 days since then and no email.

OMG!

Did the CIC ask you for additional doc or sth like my case and you sent them and it took a year to clarify?
I'm not ready to wait to another year!

Isnt Security check considered as a part of BG check?

Maybe it is because you did not pass the 16 month timeframe yet and there is no reason for you to be worried. Just a thought !

Maybe a lot of people didn't respond to your previous post was because most people that are active on the forum these days are Dec-Jan applicants, and in your previous post, you asked for Feb applicants.
And, please don't get impatient. A lot of posts get ignored. I have had similar experiences in the past numerous times.
As far as your other question goes, It'll probably be Beginning or Mid June till you get PPR, but that's just a rough estimate.
Are you done with your Medical Exam?

I'm in the same boat as you. Feb 15 applicant. Called CIC and they said Criminal portion of Background Check is done. The outstanding part is the security check.
Fingers crossed. Hopefully, in the next 2 months. Frustrating, but what can we do? Only thing is to stay positive!
