Hi there just want to ask for help ...im the accopanying person of my husband and my passport will expire this coming september .. my husband submitted our pr application last febuary 18 2016 . After irenew my passport what am going to do next ? Will it affect our application ? :'( :'( im in the philippines and my husband is already in canada with working visa ..

Renew your passport , ircc will not issues visa on passport with less than 6 months validity. Once it's renewed scan the bio page ( the one with photo and details ) and ask your hubby to upload it to CIC website via case specific entry)

I received furtherance letter for my spouse. He had a hypokalemia surgery in home country recently and he is on medication for another one month, this is what more exam for I assume but I am still so worried about the result even though his health is ok now.

Hopefully, everything is ok and does not take too long for further process.

Criminality: Passed
Medical: Passed
Security: Not Started

I am just wondering when are they going to start my security check? My application was received by them on Feb 16 2016. I did upfront medical on Jan 10, thus, I wonder whats the hold up?

Everything is a long waiting process; you'd think I would be used to it by now. lol

All Dec 2015 applicants are waiting for security and if you are lucky probably you will get PPR in 16 months. Upfront medical is not going to speed up the process and you will get a request.

I never thought it would speed up the process, otherwise, I would have done the upfront medical several months ago. However, I am less than a week away from approaching one YEAR (since they received my application); I would have at least thought they would have started the security since it takes up to three months (or more) to be completed.

And by the way, November applicants are now receiving DMs in their accounts. SOME December applicants have not had their security started as yet; others have. So we will just have to wait and see.

16 Months is a bit of stretch as DEC applicants are starting to receive their security checks now.. I think that is one of the reasons why most of the Jan Applicants received their MR request. I am over the 1 year got my MR and did the e medical.

Does anyone know or this experienced before like me? My lawyer submitted my PR application in Dec 15, 2016.I could linked it to my account in Jan 1, 2017. my application changed from xep to ep inFeb7,2017, the status shows review of eligible is in process, there is "?" beside it and it shows reviewing if working permit, study permit eligible. But my old working permit expired (Jan 15,2017)and I just got my new working permit this week, I don't know how to update a new one. . Would they send my package back before of my expired working permit? I tried contact cic, but always busy Please advices. :'(

You should be able to add new document to your application
